"Our portraits were a gift from a relative... Hope did an amazing job taking photos and replicating them into beautiful sketches. They are the most commented on items in our home... they truly embody the moment the photos were taken as well as each individual detail of family members."

P. Williams

"We have always been impressed with Hope's work... Such detail and care shows in each piece. We were so pleased with the portrait she created for a personalized wedding gift. Will definitely be calling on her services again!"

T. Davis

“One of the best artists I've seen! My brother had recently passed away. We did not get the chance to take family pictures with the five of us... the portrait is now our most cherished picture. The portrait is so realistic, it fills my heart seeing us all together every day.”

A Pride with Faith

This was one of the most, if not THE most intriguing and unique commissions I have done to date.

The client reached out to me via Tiktok from a different state. She told me this beautiful story about this vision she had of her family as a pride of lions. Each of their children were wearing a tiara or chain with their birthstone. Her family has a deep-rooted Christian faith that she wanted represented as the bonds that connect them all. Mother and father are at the head, strong leaders of their pride.

I spent well over 45+ hours working on this one-of-a-kind portrait. There was much discussion back and forth to make sure this piece included all the details she envisioned! By the time it was complete, I could feel the power in their Faith looking back at me!

Perseverance in Faith

A dream.

A longtime friend of my husband's reached out to me about a dream he had. He felt that this dream was symbolic of the journey he had experienced with his Catholic faith.

He laid out the scene and the emotions he felt every time the dream occurred. In this vision, he is pulling a dead version of himself, attempting to save something that is lost. A death that was caused by a life led in sin. The destroyed city symbolic of the destruction caused by this life in sin. He struggled to let this version go. The dream gave a great sense of hopelessness.

But, he persevered.

He was proud of where he had come to be with his relationship with God. A full commitment to Christ. This was commissioned to remind himself of the trials and hardships he endured, and that the journey made him into the man he was at that point. I was honored to pay tribute to such a beautiful story.
