Portraits by Hope

We started in the business 10 years ago when our  youngest son graduated from High School. I have always loved photography and I have taken many classes & attended countless conferences.  It felt natural to pick this career path.  I’ve never been happier.  We do all types of photography and I would love to discuss any ideas or inspirations you might have.

As many know, my husband Bill is my right hand. He is my second photographer, my studio contractor, my gardener,   my garden architect and builder. You’re right to think that things wouldn’t be the same without him.  I’m lucky.

Bill and I have three children, all married with their own children and living in the Des Moines area.  We have 5 grandchildren and one on the way. That is how we spend our off time. We love them all.  Our gardening and tending to our outdoor studio area is our second passion after photography.   If we had more time, we would love to do more traveling to exotic places.
